Biochem. professor comes up to me, beaming:
Prof.: Greetings from my sister!
Me: 'scuse me, who?
Prof.: My sister sends you her regards.
Me: Um, and your sister is...?
Prof.: Oh, she's an Arabic prof. at Helsinki uni. Taught you too, right? Somehow we ended up talking about you, haha.
Me: ...
Weird. And a little bit unnerving, too. There's more than 400 kilometers' distance between the two. They teach totally different subjects, in two different universities. What's the chance that they'd talk about the one student who's been taught by them both?
